About the Programme:

The Hotel industry is a unique sector with unique facilities. Facilities Management (FM) has a key role to play, closely tied to the guest experience whilst supporting business continuity and maintaining the upkeep of the real estate asset. The key to providing a great guest experience is understanding what the hotel client and end users expect and what is critical from an FM service perspective. This intensive
programme is designed to give participants an understanding of the fundamentals of facilities management, how it applies to a hotel site, and how they can apply it immediately to their role every day.

The programme was designed specifically for the hotel sector ensuring modules are relevant and practical with common practices that work, but also bringing learnings about technology and practices used outside of hotels that can be easily adapted. It is a hybrid delivery with 1 day in person for a field trip, and 10 days online.

Participants will receive a Portobello Certificate in Hotel Facilities Management (which carries credit toward other Facilities Management awards with Portobello Institute).
