Course Objective:

This essential people skills course supports line managers in developing a more effective, modern approach to leading others by using a coaching style of leadership. As traditional directive management becomes less effective, managers need strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills to drive performance and retention. The course focuses on enhancing active listening, improving communication in performance conversations, and developing practical coaching techniques that support accountability and growth. Participants will build trust and rapport, learn how to handle challenging conversations with confidence, improve time management and delegation, and measure and reflect on the impact of their leadership approach to achieve sustained team performance and productivity.
