About the Programme:

A practical leadership programme for new and aspiring supervisors/managers.

Stepping into a leadership role in hospitality is one of the most important—and often most challenging—career transitions. One day you are part of the team, the next you are responsible for leading it.

Many supervisors step into these roles while continuing to manage the demands of a busy operation, with limited time to step back and develop the people leadership side of the role.

Who Should Attend?

  • Newly promoted supervisors and team leaders
  • Duty managers stepping into people leadership roles
  • High-potential team members preparing for promotion

Programme Focus:

The programme is structured to build capability in:

  • Confident communication – setting clear expectations and giving effective feedback
  • Managing conflict and difficult conversations – addressing issues early and constructively
  • Leading former peers – building credibility while maintaining relationships
  • Delegation and accountability – stepping back from doing to leading
  • Building team trust and engagement – creating a positive and high-performing team environment
